The municipality Natz-Schabs with the villages
Natz, Schabs, Raas, Viums and Aicha is situated on a sunny plateau, which is very suitable for agricultural purposes and lies between the two rivers Isarco and Rienza.

Besides the many different and crisp apple varieties,as Golden Delicious, Jonathan and so on, in the south also wine angebautis grown. Known are above all the excellent white wine grapes “Müller Thurgau” and “Sylvaner”.

Even if the people nowadays don’t live anymore exclusively from agriculture, the villages could maintain their farming character , their marvellous farms and their balconies hidden under wonderful flowers.
You will realize at once that the inhabitants are still very bound with the tradition, which hasn’t lost anything of its vitality, mystery and its sincerity.

Listen to the lively marches of the village folk band or participate in the Royal Festival, the village festivities, the processions, the coronation of the Apple-Queen… At these occasions you will find a fully living tradition!
Everything seems so familiar, anonymity does not exist at all, everybody knows each other! The persons living here on the apple-plateau are a humorous and easygoing people.
