Welcome to Naz-Sciaves/Natz-Schabs in South Tyrol

Intact nature and South Tyrolean hospitality in Naz-Sciaves

A holiday here with us means relaxing, regenerating and passing your time doing different things in unspoilt nature, amidst the great expanse of apple orchards. The five localities comprising the Naz-Sciaves holiday area: Naz/Natz, Sciaves/Schabs, Rasa/Raas, Fiumes/Viums and Aica/Aicha, are located some distance away from the main traffic nodes. There are almost 3,000 inhabitants residing on this temperate mountain plateau.

While the sea of white and pink flowers blooming in spring create a magnificent, magical landscape panorama, the ripening and harvesting of the apples occurs in late summer and autumn.

You can go for exhilarating walks or set out on more challenging hikes along the well-signposted trails, or just relax and take in the magnificent landscape. Due to its central location, Naz-Sciaves is the ideal starting point for hikes and excursions throughout South Tyrol. In winter there is a ski-bus service connecting it to the surrounding ski areas.

Beneath the Naz-Sciaves High Apple Plateau lies the town of Bressanone/Brixen, seat of the archdiocese. It boasts a historic centre, Bishop's Palace, the walkway through the old porticos and beautiful historic buildings. You can find out more about South Tyrol on our Internet page, including guides for visiting towns, museums and the numerous castles in the area.

Take an excursion up into the surrounding mountains, for an adventurous hike in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site or visit any of the numerous idyllic mountain lakes: South Tyrol has open doors!
