DUE THE CURRENT SITUATION WE HAVE TO CANCELLED THE ROYAL FESTIVAL 2021.
On May 1 2021, contestants in Naz-Sciaves/Natz-Schabs line up to compete for the title. Every year, our Apples Queens welcomes a long list of other Royal Highnesses, including, among others, the Queen of the poppy, onion, etc.
On April 30, there is a welcome toast to these Royal Highnesses. The various queens are given the opportunity to present their region with the characteristics of the product they represent, before the closing with a
typical Tyrolean feast in the evening.
An extensive supporting program adds to the proceedings of the
Royal Festival. Good-natured fun and a party atmosphere is courtesy of morning program.
Along the
Royal Mile, the queens speak of their regions of origin, sign autographs and make themselves available for souvenir photos.
In the early afternoon a large procession winds its way through the streets of Naz/Natz, with participants dressed in elaborate costumes. The queens parade through the crowd accompanied by a band and folk dancers.
There are typical South Tyrolean arts and crafts on offer at the
farmers market and a special playground for the kids.
