with 1st May Competition for the title of ‘Royal Highness’
At 1 May 2023 contestants in Naz-Sciaves/Natz-Schabs line up to compete for the title. Every year, our Apples Queens welcomes a long list of other Royal Highnesses, including, among others, the Queen of the poppy, onion, etc.
On April 30, there is a welcome toast to these Royal Highnesses. The various queens are given the opportunity to present their region with the characteristics of the product they represent.
A varied programme frames the 22nd Royal Festival taking place on 1 May. A morning pint with mood music will provide great entertainment.
On the "Royal Mile" the royalty will provide information about their region of origin, hand out autographs and be available for souvenir photos.
Finally, the royal parade follows in the afternoon. Accompanied by bands, the queens parade through the village streets of Natz, lined with spectators. This is followed by a concert by the group Volxrock.
There are typical South Tyrolean arts and crafts on offer at the farmers market and a special playground for the kids.
